DrivePass ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DrivePass mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
• Usage data — your progress through theory questions, mock test scores, highway code reading history, and streak data
• Device information — device type and operating system version for app compatibility purposes
• Region preference — your selected country and state for content personalisation

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the DrivePass app experience
• Save and sync your progress across devices
• Personalise content based on your selected region
• Send optional study reminder notifications if you enable them
• Analyse usage patterns to improve question quality and app performance

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which is hosted on Google's cloud infrastructure. Firebase Authentication handles account credentials. Firebase Realtime Database stores your progress data. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Google Firebase — for authentication and data storage
• Law enforcement — only when required by law

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

DrivePass is intended for users aged 16 and over, consistent with the minimum age for learner drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

8. Cookies and Tracking

DrivePass does not use cookies. We do not use third-party advertising networks or tracking SDKs. Firebase may collect anonymised analytics data subject to Google's privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
